Meet the Lifetime Wellness Center Team
Dr. Curtis Scott, D.C.
Dr. Curtis attended the University of Western Ontario graduating with a honors degree in Physiology. He then attended the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Southern California where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
During his studies at UWO he suffered from almost daily headaches, which like most people he thought was “normal”. After a minor low back injury he decided to visit a chiropractor and his life’s path was changed forever. After only a few visits his headaches were disappearing, his energy levels were improving and he felt fantastic. Over time his headaches disappeared completely, his posture was greatly improved and when many of his classmates would get sick he would remain healthy. And yes his low back pain was gone as well.
“My view of Chiropractic at that time in my life was that it was for neck and back pain and although we do get great results with those cases Chiropractic is really about much more. It is about the health and function of your nervous system which if compromised can potentially affect numerous aspects of your health. My biggest regret is that I lived with reduced health for so long not knowing that there was an answer. As such, I have made it my personal mission to educate as many people as possible on how modern Chiropractic can help so that they or their loved ones do not need to suffer needlessly.”
Dr. Curtis has practiced all over the world before returning to his home of South Western Ontario. During his 9 years of practice he has worked internationally in the Netherlands, France, El Salvador, the USA and Canada.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family- his amazing daughter Cali, his beautiful wife Cassie and his faithful dog Sadie.
Dr. Kelly Upcott – Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Kelly Upcott obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Windsor before graduating from the four-year naturopathic program at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. Dr. Upcott uses nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture, and lifestyle counselling in practice. She enjoys working with families and has a special interest in chronic inflammatory conditions, digestive disorders and women’s health issues. Kelly has published articles in the Metro and Windsor Body Magazine.
Focusing on prevention and the use of natural substances and treatments, Dr. Upcott’s aim is to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself. Her primary goal is to address the root cause of illness, rather than simply to treat or suppress symptoms. Each patient is treated as a whole person and their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions are taken into account when diagnosing and developing a treatment plan.
“I believe it is the combination of the healing power of nature and scientific methods that makes naturopathic medicine an important system of medicine for today’s health care. Now, more than ever, naturopathic doctors are poised to play a significant role in addressing some of the critical issues facing our health care system in Ontario, including the shortage of family physicians and the over-prescribing of pharmaceutical drugs.”

Andrea Balkwill, D.O.M.P. – Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Andrea Balkwill obtained her Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor before graduating from a three year osteopathic program at The Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy in 2013. Andrea uses the osteopathic approach which is a holistic concept of medicine and healing to treat a wide variety of conditions.
Her goal is to address the body as a whole and treat all systems, rather than targeting the symptom alone. This allows the body to be put into an optimal position in which it can begin to heal itself. By addressing the root of the problem, it allows a freely moving body and ensures that all systems are free to heal themselves and work without dysfunction. This leads to a happy and healthy patient.
Andrea has a great passion and drive for manual therapy and healing. She uses many gentle techniques including, but not limited to, myofacial release, craniosacral therapy, and visceral manipulations. Her greatest joy is knowing that she is helping people to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
